2009 Summer Day Camps

Journey into the Rainforest
Session A: June 22-July 10 (three weeks)
(No camp on Friday, July 3)
Join us for a journey through the Rainforest. Children will experience sights, sounds, and hands-on activities as they learn about the plants, animals, and people of the many different rainforests on our earth.

The Mystery of Things
Session B: July 13-July 31 (three weeks)
Discover the mystery of things as you explore inventions and everyday objects. Objects give you clues about the people who made them. Find out how these everyday objects you work, and learn about the interesting people who created them. Here's your chance to see how things are made and make up a few inventions of your own. With imagination as your key, you'll unlock hidden treasures in this session.

The Northwest: Then and Now
Session C: August 3-14 (two weeks)
Come learn about the first peoples of the Northwest through the study of art, folktales, flora and fauna. Throughout the session students will also develop a deeper appreciation of our fragile environment and how each individual can be a good earth steward.
